Brief Intro

Brooke Leachman, MD, is a board certified radiation oncologist. She completed her undergraduate studies in Anthropology, International Relations, and French Language at Boston University. Inspired by her medical mission work in Gonaives, Haiti, she decided to attend medical school and earned her Doctor of Medicine degree at Duke University. She then completed residency training in radiation oncology at Fox Chase Cancer Center, an NCI-designed Comprehensive Cancer Center, where she served as chief resident. After serving as Medical Director and establishing a brachytherapy program in Bowling Green, Kentucky, she is delighted to move with her family to North Georgia and join the incredible cancer team at NGHS. She treats all disease sites but has a particular interest in breast, prostate, lung, and brain cancers.
