Dr. Moore graduated Summa Cum Laude and Phi Betta Kappa from Wheaton College in Norton, Massachusetts in 1979, with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Biology. She subsequently received her Medical Degree from the State University of New York at Stony Brook School of Medicine in 1983. Her post graduate training in Internal Medicine, as well as in Nephrology and Hypertension, was completed at the State University of New York at Stony Brook in 1989. Dr. Moore is Board certified in Nephrology and Internal Medicine. She is a member of the American Society of Nephrology and the Medical Society of the State of New York.
After joining Suffolk Nephrology in 1989, Dr. Moore became a full partner in 1992. She has served as Medical Director at Suffolk Artificial Kidney Center from 1995 to 1998. She is currently on staff at St. Catherine of Siena Hospital, John T. Mather Memorial Hospital, and St. Charles Hospital.
Her academic resume includes teaching experience at the State University of New York at Stony Brook School of Medicine and she has contributed to several medical publications related to nephrology and dialysis.
Dr. Moore is an accomplished equestrian, having received several awards in competition.
