Dr. Jerby is a Cum Laude graduate of the University of South Carolina Medical School. He completed his internship and residency training at Carolinas Medical Center. Dr. Jerby completed a fellowship in laparoscopic intestinal surgery through the Cleveland Clinic Foundation in 1988. He also completed fellowship training in colon and rectal surgery from the Washington University School of Medicine in 1999 and was head of the Minimally Invasive Surgery Center at Presbyterian Hospital.
