Brief Intro

Brenden Hansen, MD, is Whidbey General Hospital Chief-of-Staff elect as well as medical director of our 13-bed Emergency Department, which treats approximately 18,000 adults and children every year. Dr. Hansen works closely with nurses and other emergency physicians to ensure exceptional care and patient satisfaction in the ED. He oversees protocols developed to ensure continuity, quality and consistency in post-emergency treatment. He serves on the hospital?s Trauma Committee, which evaluates incidents treated at Whidbey General to ensure that our trauma care meets the highest quality standards. He is a past member of our Peer Review Committee, which evaluates the care provided here to ensure it meets the highest national standards. He joined our medical staff in 2010.
