Bradford Mitchell, MD, is a fellowship trained primary care sports medicine physician. He specializes in non-operative treatment of acute and chronic musculoskeletal conditions and injuries. His specialties include:

Dr. Mitchell is a native of Montgomery, Alabama. He attended Auburn University, where he earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Biomedical Sciences. He graduated magna cum laude from the honors program and was a member of Phi Kappa Phi. Dr. Mitchell earned his medical degree from the University of Alabama School of Medicine in 2011, maintaining the rank of top quartile in his medical school class. He then completed residency training at the University of Tennessee Family Practice, where he served as Chief Resident.
Dr. Mitchell went on to perform his fellowship at Duke University in Primary Care Sports Medicine. While at Duke, he provided physician coverage for all Duke University varsity sports teams (including the 2015 National Championship Duke Men’s Basketball team) and served as team physician for Elon University and other professional and amateur sports teams.
