Dr. Boban Mathew is an interventional cardiologist with the St. Alexius Heart & Lung Clinic. After receiving his medical degree in India, Dr. Mathew finished a residency in internal medicine through University of Buffalo at Mercy Hospital and Sisters of Charity Hospital, Buffalo, N.Y. He completed a fellowship in cardiology at State University of New York (SUNY) Upstate Medical University, Syracuse, N.Y., and a fellowship in interventional cardiology at Lankenau Hospital, an affiliate of Thomas Jefferson University Hospitals, Philadelphia, Penn. Dr. Mathew is board certified in internal medicine, cardiology, interventional cardiology, echocardiography and nuclear cardiology. He is a member of the British Society of Echocardiography, American Heart Association and American College of Cardiology.
