Dr. Cameron’s 25-year journey in healthcare stems from a passion for improving patients’ health with optimal clinical care. As a leading Anesthesiologist and Interventional Pain Specialist, Dr. Cameron contributes to the medical field with active participation in six national healthcare organizations, four regional healthcare organizations, five patents, two patents pending, and multiple community leadership and advisory roles. In addition, Dr. Cameron is a confident communicator and an engaging speaker who drives innovation for his patient population.
Dr. Cameron earned his Bachelor of Arts from the University of Miami. After graduating, Dr. Cameron completed his M.D. from the Howard University College of Medicine, followed by five years of focused training, internships, residencies, and fellowships. In addition to numerous certifications and deep industry expertise, he has been identified as a subject matter expert to deliver presentations on the topic of opioid abuse prevention and education for healthcare professionals, medical and college students, and community members. Dr. Cameron’s career trajectory led him to serve as the Regional Anesthesia Director & Head of Pain Management at Bethesda Medical Associates. To give back, Dr. Cameron is a volunteer faculty member at Florida International University, liaison, and advisor to Sound Health, and devotes his time to researching and practicing evidence-based medicine to support patient overall health and well-being.
His dedication and innovation to the medical community awarded him the “Interventional Pain Award” for outstanding healthcare and medical work with Pfizer. As Medical Director and CEO of Cameron Spine, he has helped patients navigate complex issues with a collaborative, patient-centric approach to identifying the best path to improved health.
