Beverly A. Frank, M.D. received her medical degree from the University of Pittsburgh, School of Medicine in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. There she was uniquely recognized for %u201CServing and Honoring the Patient.%u201D She completed her pediatric internship and residency at the EVMS Children%u2019s Hospital of the Kings Daughters in Norfolk, Virginia.
She has been board certified and a Fellow of the American Board of Pediatrics since 1995 and has been serving Middle Tennessee families for over 14 years. During that time she has been Chief of Pediatrics at Baptist Hospital and also served as President of the Davidson County Pediatric Association. Her areas of special interest have focused on helping older children with exercise and nutrition to avoid obesity and helping new parents learn about newborns and breastfeeding.
Dr. Frank joined Tennessee Pediatrics in January of 2011. She is married and has two children and spends her time training for long distance bicycle rides and running half marathons. She is a member of the Exchange Club whose mission is the prevention of child abuse and neglect. She also participates in her church%u2019s missions to help disadvantaged children in the Appalachians.
