Dr. Degnan is board certified in Pediatrics and Pediatric Endocrinology. He graduated from Harvard University and Georgetown University Medical School. He completed his Pediatric residency at Fitzsimmons Army Medical Center and a fellowship in Pediatric Endocrinology at Walter Reed Army Medical Center. He also completed a 10-year military career in the U.S. Army. He is a fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics and a member of the Endocrine Society and the American Diabetes Association. He has a special interest in diabetes, growth and puberty issues, thyroid disease, pituitary disease, and hormone issues. He was named one the area's Top Docs by Hour Detroit magazine in 2008.
