My whole family is in medicine, so it was natural that I went into cardiology. I like being able to make a difference in people's lives, whether that's treating a patient with a heart attack or helping someone quit smoking. Practicing medicine in a small town is nice, everybody knows you. I've been in Pittsburg for 20 years, and I'm really involved in the community. Now it feels like my patients are my neighbors and friends.
