Dr. Azziza Bankole is a board-certified psychiatrist in Adult and Geriatric psychiatry. She trained in Nigeria and completed her residency at SUNY Downstate Medical Center, NY. Her expertise includes dementia, mood disorders, and schizophrenia. Dr. Bankole has received awards like the American Association for Geriatric Psychiatry Member-in-Training Research Award. Currently, she serves as a Geriatric Psychiatrist at Carilion Clinic Center for Healthy Aging and the Director of the Geriatric Psychiatry Fellowship program at VTCSOM.
