Living with advanced liver disease can be debilitating, especially for those who may not have access to care. I take pride in advocating for my patients while collaborating with different specialties to deliver high-quality care accessible to patients in the Lehigh Valley.
I am a board-certified transplant hepatologist who treats patients with liver disease. I completed my internal medicine residency at Boston University and served as chief resident. I completed my gastroenterology fellowship at Yale University and my transplant hepatology fellowship at the University of Pennsylvania. During my fellowship, I also pursued a master’s degree in Health Science at Yale School of Medicine.
I treat a broad range of conditions, including nonalcoholic fatty liver disease (NAFLD), alcoholic liver disease, viral hepatitis, and autoimmune and genetic liver diseases. I am particularly interested in patients with decompensated cirrhosis and those with liver and biliary cancer. I also care for liver transplant recipients and can manage immunosuppression and complications that may occur after a liver transplant.
