Dr. Thekdi is a originally from Toledo, Ohio but spent time in North Carolina during his undergraduate years at Duke University. After receiving his medical training in Ohio and Michigan, Dr. Thekdi found his way back to the Carolinas and joined Charlotte Gastroenterology & Hepatology in 2011. He is a member of the American College of Gastroenterology (ACG), the Crohn’s and Colitis Foundation of America (CCFA), the Mecklenburg County Medical Society (MCMS), the North Carolina Medical Society (NCMS), and the North Carolina Society for Gastroenterology (NCSG). Although practicing medicine is Dr. Thekdi’s true passion, he also enjoys cooking, traveling, reading, and sports.
