Arun Chervu, MD, FACS is a partner at Vascular Surgical Associates.
Dr. Chervu received his undergraduate degree in Chemical Engineering at Princeton University in Princeton, New Jersey, graduating Magna Cum Laude and received his Doctor of Medicine from Cornell University Medical College in New York in 1984.
In 1992, he completed his surgical residency and fellowship at UCLA School of Medicine, Los Angeles, CA. He was an assistant professor of surgery at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center-Parkland Hospital in Dallas, Texas from July 1992 to June 1995. Dr. Chervu is Board Certified in Surgery and has Board Certification for Added Qualifications in General Vascular Surgery.
He is also a fellow of the American College of Surgeons and is a member of the Atlanta Vascular Society, the Southern Association for Vascular Surgery, and the American Association of Vascular Surgery. Dr. Chervu's hospital appointments include WellStar Kennestone Hospital and WellStar Cobb Hospital. He is actively involved in clinical research and is Director of Clinical Trials for Vascular Surgical Associates.
