Brief Intro

About Dr. Gager Dr. Gager is a graduate of Syracuse University where he majored in chemistry.  After college he worked in pharmaceutical research for a number of years.  He then completed dental school at Temple University in Philadelphia where he earned his D.D.S. degree and specialty certificate in periodontics. After practicing for a year in the Philadelphia area, Dr. Gager moved to Maine and opened a practice in 1986.  This was York County's first specialty practice in Periodontics. Dr. Gager is an active member of The American Dental Association, The Academy of Osseointegration, and The American Academy of Periodontology. He is past president of the York County Dental Society and the Maine Society of Periodontology.  He has published in both organic chemistry and clinical Periodontology.  Dr. Gager has been a consultant examiner for the Northeast Regional Board of Dental Examiners for a decade. Dr. Gager is specially licensed to provide intravenous sedation in the office.
