I was born and raised in Thousand Oaks, California. I received a B.A. in Biochemistry in 1998 from U.C. Berkeley. I attended Wayne State University for my medical education, graduating in 2002. My pediatric residency training was completed at U.C.L.A. Medical Center. My fellowship in pediatric critical care was done at Childrens Hospital of Michigan in Detroit. I am certified by the American Board of Pediatrics. Professionally, I am interested in respiratory pathophysiology, particularly in asthmatics. My personal interests include outdoor activities and spending time with my family. English, I speak Spanish.
