Brief Intro

Anna Elissa Zengel, DMD Born in New Orleans, Louisiana, Dr. Zengel graduated Phi Beta Kappa from Rhodes College in 1973. After a period working she resumed her education graduating from Harvard School of Dental Medicine in 1984 with her dental degree, and in 1987 with a specialty certificate in orthodontics and a Masters Degree in Oral Biology from Harvard Medical School.  She began private practice in the Charlestown, New Hampshire, area in the late 1980s, concurrently conducting basic science research on growth and craniofacial pattern change at the Department of Toxicology at Forsyth Dental Center in Boston. In 1992, she relocated her practice to Springfield, Vermont, and was joined there by Dr. Emily Samuel in 1999. Her hobbies revolve around cooking and home decoration. Dr. Post and Dr. Zengel have been married since 1985 and have a son, William. They enjoy working together on everything but will openly admit they do not always agree.
