Brief Intro

As an undergraduate at the University of Chicago, Dr. Shah earned Dean’s List honors for four years before taking his medical training at the Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis. He completed his internship and residency in internal medicine at Northwestern Memorial Hospital in Chicago, Illinois. He completed fellowships in Cardiovascular Diseases and Interventional Cardiology at the Harbor-UCLA Medical Center in Torrance, California. In June, 1994, he received the John Smith Memorial Award for cardiovascular research and presented research at the American Heart Association’s 2000 Annual Meeting. He is currently a member of the American Medical Association. He has achieved Fellow status in the American College of Cardiology as well as the Society for Cardiovascular Angiography and Interventions. Dr. Shah is board certified in Internal Medicine, Cardiology and in Interventional Cardiology. He has been practicing since 2002. Dr. Shah is on staff at Northwest Community Hospital and Advocate Lutheran General Hospital.
