Brief Intro

My goal when treating patients is to help them reclaim their lives by restoring pain-free movement. The mission of my practice is to provide individualized, specialized, and compassionate care. I am joining St. Luke’s after completing a fellowship in Adult Reconstruction at UT Houston McGovern School of Medicine in Texas and an orthopedic surgery residency at St. Luke’s University Hospital in Bethlehem. As an adult reconstruction specialist, I focus on treating arthritic hip and knee conditions. Utilizing the most current surgical tools and techniques, I work with each patient to develop a comprehensive treatment plan to reduce pain, gain strength and range of motion, and improve function. For those who have previously undergone a hip or knee replacement but are still experiencing mobility issues, revision surgery may be a viable option. I am dedicated to identifying the root of the problem and working with patients on solutions that best fit their lifestyle and mobility goals. Research is the cornerstone of providing high-quality patient care. To that end, I conduct ongoing studies that focus on enhancing patient safety through data monitoring, reducing the potential for infection by improving surgical sterility, and examining post-operative outcomes. Providing exceptional care is my passion, and I hope to share that with every patient who comes through my door. Outside work, I enjoy getting involved in the Bethlehem community with my wife. I am also a hobby woodworker focusing on period-style reproduction furniture.
