Dr. Andrew Helmich Dr. Helmich is a graduate of the University of Minnesota School of Dentistry where he earned his DDS degree with high honors. He then served for three years as a Lieutenant in the U.S. Navy, practicing as a general dentist in Norfolk, VA and San Diego, CA. As a native of Minneapolis, Dr. Helmich returned home for two years of specialty training at the University of Minnesota where he received his Masters degree in Orthodontics. Dr. Helmich is also a Board Certified orthodontist and Diplomate of the American Board of Orthodontics. Through continuing education, he stays current with the latest advances in orthodontics and the rapidly changing technology. He is an active member of many top professional groups including: American Board of Orthodontics (ABO) American Association of Orthodontics (AAO) Minnesota Association of Orthodontics (MAO) American Dental Association (ADA) Minnesota Dental Association (MDA) Minneapolis District Dental Society (MDDS) Omicron Kappa Upsilon Dental Honor Society (OKU) Certified Invisalign Provider When not in the office, Dr. Helmich enjoys spending time with his wife and his three children.
