I grew up in Southern California in the San Fernando Valley. I then ventured off to Michigan for medical school. During my third year of medical school I found my calling: pediatrics. After braving four years of Michigan winters, my husband and I moved back to Los Angeles for my pediatric residency with Kaiser Permanente. I fell in love with its health care system and continued working for Kaiser Permanente after moving to San Diego. My husband and I have a daughter, a son and a new yellow Lab pup. When I am not at work, I am spending time being a great wife and mother - and exercising with our new puppy, of course.
