Brief Intro

"Treat the patient with cancer, either for a curative or palliative intent, not just the cancer." I earned my medical degree from Topiwala National Medical College and the University of Bombay in India. I completed my residency in internal medicine and fellowship in hematology at the Veterans Affairs Hospital and Mt. Sinai Hospital in New York. I completed my medical oncology fellowship at Mt. Sinai Hospital in Milwaukee. I am board certified in internal medicine, medical oncology and hematology. In addition, I speak Hindi, Marathi and Konkani. I am married and have three children and four grandchildren. I enjoy photography, especially of my grandchildren. I am interested in hospice care and hope to spend part of my post-retirement doing hospice care, especially in India where I was born and raised.
