Dr.  Abed Alkhatib received his undergraduate education at Lehigh University in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania, and his dental degree from the University of Pennsylvania, School of Dental Medicine.  He completed his residency in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at New York Presbyterian Hospital, Weill Cornell Medical Center.  Dr. Alkhatib is board certified by The American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery. The doctors at Oral Surgery Associates have been placing dental implants since 1987. They are experienced in techniques such as bone socket preservation, bone grafts to replace missing bone and sinus lift/ bone graft surgery. All doctors participate in continuing education courses to keep their implant knowledge current.
